So I was unfreezing a midi track to change something, as Superior Drummer was loading the samples, Sonar 7 crashed, when I opened it back up the only thing showing across the top is "options" & "help" ... options lets me open the menu editor but there is nothing in the editor to choose from & I can no longer right click the toolbar or on any of the tracks to freeze or unfreeze or add, remove or bypass plugins, it won't even open the EQ (though strangely it will still let me add or remove layers). Every other program on the computer works fine. I've already done a system restore & reinstalled the program & got the same result. Anyone have any ideas before I reinstall Windows??? Thanks guys.

Reinstalling Windows should be the very last resort and is not likely going to fix this problem.

You could try to hold down the CTRL key and click on the Sonar icon to start it.

LOL, that actually worked & I feel new.  I have other reasons to reinstall windows but wanted to fix a few things on a project before I did. I totally forgot about the control start thing with resetting the defaults. Thanks m8, you made my day.
