I just looked at the X2 feature list and saw NEW! Modular ProChannel.

Anyone have any idea what this is and how it differs from the current X1 producer expanded ProChannel?

Could it possibly allow the insertion of an item in the FX bin to be placed somewhere within the Prochannel chain? (Fingers crossed)

I think the 'new modular pro channel' might be tied in with the fact it supports PC FX chains. there are a few things listed that arent exactly new either. PC Quadcurve EQ, softube saturation and soundcloud integration. There may be slight updates to all, but i think the term new is being used loosely.

It just means the Studio and Producer versions ProChannel now can run any modules. They took Expanded and integrated it into Studio and Producer. Producer will have all of the Expanded features.

I wonder how the existing 4 versions of X1 (essential, studio, producer, suite) to be upgraded to 3 versions of X2 (essential, studio, producer ).. 

Or will there be a X2 suite later on..

Production Suite and Producer BOTH upgrade to 
X2 Producer...

They'll pay different amounts to get there obviously...

I'm hoping that the modular ProChannel let's you use whatever you want and take away whatever you want...

Meaning that the Quad Curve can be replaced or not there at all...
