I am pretty sure you can use the old NI Akoustic Piano in the free Kontakt 5 player.

I have B4 II, that is a 32 bit VSTi and works in Sonar 64 bit as long as you don't want to the patch names in the track header for anything but the default bank. (its the same using JBridge)

well you can import em into kontakt for sure.. Jim R mentioned it ages ago..

they re-released b4 as a kore pack also.. which can be used with kontakt IRC which was later included in a later komplete and they neglected to mention that in their advertising at the point (the first "who cares" bit of customer care by NI , then they shafted kore users at short notice=lost custom )

PROBLEM SOLVED: It turned out that I didn't have the right path in the list of VSTi paths. The VSTi's work fine. However, shouldn't the DXi's work?

Your wish is my command  http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/printview.php?t=177538&start=0 BTW it is free and it works.

thank you John!  very good info, I was not aware that 32bit DX/DXi could be wrapped!

While waiting on John I found and installed FFX-4 freeware. It works too. However, it's a 32bit dll so it runs under bitbridge.

I just installed the 64bit DX Shell that John recommended, yet it does not find the Cake stuff from the 32bit Cake FX1, FX2, FX3 free downloads like FFX-4 does.

Hmmmmm. I just reset all VSTs, rescanned all bad VSTs and did a full rescan of VSTs. Still no find the FX1-3 stuff.

Do I need to install the 32bit version of DX Shell instead?

OK, so I deleted the 64bit DX Shell and installed the 32bit DX Shell and rescanned in 64bit SONAR. Now 64bit SONAR sees and opens the FX1-3 stuff, but under bitbridge just like FFX-4.

I never said there were not others. I use DXshell therefore its the one I can recommend.

I use it for Sound Stage FX3. I didn't want to give that plugin up.

I have had this since 8 when I went 64 bit. The 64 bit version wasn't around then.  And yes I use it under Bitbidge.

Hey guys, this is just a little bit off topic, but relates to the wrappers.  Has anyone had success getting the MFX wrapper (mfxshell) to work with SoundTrek Drummer MFX?  I gave up trying a couple of years ago.  The drumming program is already MFX and works in the 32bit Sonar, but of course not in the 64bit version, and I have never gotten to work in the MFXshell.  Sorry if this is off topic, but it is good to hear there is a 64bit dxshell now.
