Sonar crashes a lot with VST plug-ins, including Melodyne.  Since it also crashes with V-Vocal

You need to try and work out exactly what's causing this.

Which plugins are crashing for you? What type of crashes are you getting?

V-Vocal is as solid as rock for me, on both 32 & 64 bit version of Sonar.

p.s. - put your system specs in your signature mate.

I have a list but it is made up mostly of small bugs, annoyances, or features that are not implemented as well or robustly as possible.  No major missing features or functions EXCEPT integration of Melodyne—but that is only important to me because Sonar crashes a lot with VST plug-ins, including Melodyne.  Since it also crashes with V-Vocal, I am not sure integration of Melodyne would n=be any better of different from a stability standpoint.

Rewire is broken so Melodyne wouldn't work either

1. Fix the bug that compelled me to do a regedit to change my sample location folder. 2. Fix the preset step-select bug in the arpeggiator. 3. The ability to define what I want to see in the track-view right-click menu. 4. The ability to replace the compressor in the Pro-Channel with one of my own choice. Or the EQ, for that matter. 5. Spectrum view in the Pro-Channel EQ. I want this more than anything else. 6. The abilty to customize the control bar much more than at present. 7. Sonar Plus to be built into X2.

As much as I hate the title of "fanbois" (it sounds gay to me, but it's better than being a traitor) I will chime in with a suggestion...

Smaller track lanes ( narrower width)  so that you can have more tracks on one page. That makes sense to me.

I currently am able to get 24 tracks on one page, 36 or even 50 would be better. This would become important when working with large orchestral pieces with many tracks.

metronome on/off buttons during playback & recording,
just have the metronome on at all times and have it sent to a bus. then you can mute/unmute it whenever you want, even during playback and record.

i think it's better this way, since you then also have control of it's volume
