I haven't opened my version of Sonar 8.5 Studio in a few weeks. When I did, I noticed that some of my effects are now gone from the menus when I go to insert them in my effects bin. Specifically, I cannot get a hold of my Lexicon Pantheon LE. I see it and hear it in old projects, but I cannot insert it, or find it anywhere. It is still alive, but Sonar is ignoring it. I am on Win 7-64 bit. Has anyone had this happen to them before? Any solutions?

Hi Thomas,
afaik this is the cause the Pantheon LE is a 32 bit and a Dx Plugin, not a Vst.
Otherwise it would be possible to use it per  bit- or j - bridge to insert it.
Have you checked Plug- In manager,if it is enabled ?

No the Pantheon is both a 32 bit and 64 bit DX plug-in. I have had it show up in both 32 & 64 bit SONAR. If you can still hear it on older projects, maybe this a GUI problem?

The reverb should show up as Panthle.dll in  C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Shared Plugins. In the Plugin Manager it should show in DirectX Audio Effects (DX).

The first thing I would check would be in the Plugin Manager to make sure Show Enabled is checked, and to make sure I wasn't using a different Plugin Layout. If you can see and hear it in some projects but not in others that seems to imply the plugin is there and recognized by Sonar, but is not visible in the menu. I can't think of anything else but the plugin manager that would allow that kind of behavior. Of course, that may speak more to my limitations than it does to your problem... but that's all I got.

Thanks for your replies. I will look into these. I suspect that something I installed recently has interfered with my Sonar installation. I am not sure what that is, but everything was working fine on this machine in the past. I will poke around and see what I come up with.

Pantheon doesn't get loaded as part of an X1 installation.

If you only have X1 on your system, then you'll need to install Pantheon from your 8.5 discs (no you don't need to do a full install of 8.5, you can just install Pantheon)
