Ah... right. I'll have another look then. I'm not familiar with "bitbridge." Is that something that is done in the background by X1?

yeah i guess you can say that..
bitbridge is what makes it possible to run 32bit plugins in 64bit sonar.

i think it's a separate process that opens up with any 32bit plugin and translates everything the 32-bit plugin's trying to say into something that 64bit sonar understands

if you're lucky you just see it as a blueish bar at the top of any open 32-bit plugin. if you're unlucky the translation gets all f****d up and gives you a big crash :P

it runs smoothly with microtonic though :)

Just installed BFD Eco. For $50, a no-brainer.
Sounds pretty good!

I have Drumaxx, it is indeed pure physical modelling. If I was going to buy another one, http://soniccharge.com/microtonic would be a definite candidate. :)

To me it´s the same.I have the best and easiest results with Toontrack SD.
Years ago I started with Battery 2, but this is as static as the session drummer 3
(really like the Old Zep Kit) which is really toooo muuuuch work to make the drumclips
of it by handwriting the timing /expression so alive, that it sounds like a human drummer.

There have been some really good special deals so I got first the EZ drummer and than an
upgrade offer which makes the SD drummer a no brainer .
The velocity and humanizing features make my life much easier !
