you know, there's nothing special about the way i record,
i pay attention to gain staging, i try to get the source to sound as good as i can,
i use minimum effects and rely mainly on arrangements and subtle volume and panning changes to get the mix across.
and i try to hold my lip right.

I stopped writing my songs around the bass years ago..
After hearing that, I might have to rethink that..
sounds really good.
