Hey all (that might listen). Not much of a song (I'm still learning), impossibly slow and dreadfully long. I'm putting this up for my sisters sake. She's the singer. She can do upbeat stuff too. Hoping there might be somebody that might be in need of a female voice in some project. Her name is Kelly Wolf. She's capable of so much more than I can write and record at the moment, so I thought of putting this up. Thanks so much for taking a listen !     http://www.soundclick.com...ult.cfm?bandid=1334807

That was pretty nice for all the disclaimers.  A simple song, arrangement, and vocal treatment can go a long ways to showcasing one's talent.  Kelly has a good voice, and I'll be interested to see where it goes in the future.  Just keep posting your songs here, and this crowd here will love to help in any way they can.

Yes, that was very nice and sounded pretty good for sure. Kelly does have a lovely voice and she should do very well in the music world. Very simple sound and arrangement came off very nicely and holds your attention. A bit long, but the song had a lot to say, so thumbs up.

Peace and Blessings, John

You're sisters got a beautiful voice. Love her slow vibrato, and her intonation on both the higher and lower notes.

Your sister does indeed have a very tuneful voice.

I hesitate to mention it as no one else has but what have you done to the guitar I am getting a lot of phasing noise here, which of course could just be the side affect of being an alien with furry ears.

Keep them coming lots of very helpful peeps here.

Thanks for sharing.

The effects on the acoustic guitar were way overdone. The vocals were really really nice though. Dump the out of key guitar and get some lessons.

Hey Wookie, Thanks for checking it out. She sings right on the money. "tuneful" ! Thanks too for bringing up the guitar. It wasn't your outworld furriness. We have only one mic (Shure sm-58) so she sings into that and the guitar is direct through my interface. I taught myself to fingerpick but I still got a long way to go. Got some nerve damage down my whole rt side, so a lot of unevenness between thumb and fingers. Tamed that the best I could w/some compression and then used the BT anologue chorus and the BT stereo widener. I guess that's where the phase issue comes from. Best I could come up with. If you could hear the raw guitar track...well thankfully no one has to. Anyway Thanks Mr. Wookie !    Jim
