Hey Herb. Thanks for the listen and the comment! You know I've been hanging around these forums since I joined. I listen to most of what gets posted. I used to post comments, until I realized I never had anything actually constructive to add. They were all just "wow, that was really nice" kinda stuff". But now, after putting stuff up myself and seeing how with such grace folks offer up encouragement, I realize I should never have stopped. So, thanks Herb, Lynn, John, BBB,Wookie, Pistolpete, Starise, and Shawn for reminding me.  Jim.

This is great song for showcasing the vocals, it's got great presence, lots of emotion,  super control, and a special vibe. Loved the little chuckle, it made me smile.
If you wanted to pursue this further, you could do worse than work on what you are doing. It seems to me you already have something special and could work this up into something great.
You could also do worse than share your creations on this site, as there are a lot of very talented people here that could guide you on your journey if you needed help with something.

P.S. I tend to agree with Wookiee, the guitar would have been sweeter without the phasing effect, but that's just a personal preference, you play it how you feel it.

Hey rebel007! Wow man. Those are some great words. I'm not that great w/words myself, but I sure appreciate you taking the time and in such detail. I'm starting to think your right about the song. I'll work on that. And yea, I had to laugh just reading it, that little chuckle gets em all. All the way from the land down under. Spent four days in Perth in 1980 when I was still in the navy. Loved it. Heard some good music too. Again Thanks for the super encouraging words!   Jim

Hi James, nice tune and very good vocals, guitar's not bad either ,just a bit to much movement in the stereo field that's a bit distracting. Good effort.
