My friend's kids were over playing around in my home studio. Recorded them goofing around on the mic, spliced it up, and put this together for fun. They keep singing it around the house now. I can't tell if their mom secretly enjoys that or is not impressed. :)

Would appreciate comments on the mixing/mastering.

Made me smile...

I think the mix is pretty good. I don't hear any obvious problems with it. Could use a little more instruments maybe, but I understand this was for fun, and it sounds like it was.

Dan

Sounds like fun for the kids...and a pretty unpleasant experience for Mommy. Mix was pretty decent.

lol - they should write lyrics for the Forum Monkeys - similar lyrical subject in their songs.
Now I have it going round my head - thanks

Sounds like everyone is heading in the right direction if that is where you want to take them. Nice mix.

Thank you for the feedback. All the instruments were various loops from Beatscape so it feels like I cheated, but you're right... it was a lot of fun. My biggest challenge/concern is mastering. I'm still trying to get what I hear in my room to transfer well to other environments. It feels like I'm finally getting close.

Nice to hear it is making people smile. The girls will be happy to know. :)

Love it, I'd like to here the talking parts at the beginning eq'd to sound like the telephone effect: take out the highs and the lows and just leave a narrow midrange eq, with a bit of delay.
