Well I was going more for a "Beepster meets Jim Jones" type visual but Ralf Wiggum chowing out on random killberries works too... especially considering that was the Lord of the Flies parody. lulz...

looking forward to trying this plugin out. It does seem to be missing the vari-phase section though (pitch sliders and the tempo adjustment)

Will the R-Mix in X2 work on 24bit audio files?

Indeed it will. It works as a plugin on any track, bus, etc and is fully automatable.

I figure it as an advanced spectral analyzer/editor. Pretty cool, I guess.

I have had R-Mix for a few days and finding it to be a great tool for dissecting songs for the sake of learning harmony parts for background vocals and instrument parts that may be hard to hear in a dense mix. When doing anything drastic there are tons of phasing artifacts but for learning parts it doesn't matter. For subtle changes in level and panning of instruments/vocals in a mix the artifacts aren't too bad.

It's nice to hear from someone that's actually been using it, thanks.   I certainly have my hopes up for it...

I'd remind everyone to remember the Audiosnap demos on video that "always" work as intended.  Audiosnap works well in ideal conditions and the demos seem to work that angle.

I'm betting that R-Mix will be a handy tool to have but don't expect it to work miracles all the time.
