Just as I thought my complete studio revamp next year was all sorted...X2 is announced mentioning touchscreen support. I had heard before that touchscreen didn't really work with the small controls etc. I had decided to use my Novation Zero SL for plugin tweaking and automation, and just do the console with the mouse. Dedicated mixer control surfaces wont work for me for a few reasons. I know the VS700 comes close, but the only thing that would work for me is an exact clone of the Sonar mixer as I see it. I.e..Touchscreen. I had ruled it out and was going to go with a 3 screen 1920x1080 setup. Now, I know nothing about Touchscreen, these modern things like Ipads, or Windows 8. If I were using Windows 7 and X2, what kind of screen would I have to buy to make touchscreen viable?

I'm sure most of use would like to know the answer as well! :-)

Perhaps a touchscreen monitor?

I've bought a Dell 21.5 multi touch screen to test X1 last year and it won't work...

I hope the Dell 21.5 will work with X2.. but I still felt it's too small to touch (if the size of X2 is similar to X1).
