So, X1D Producer Expanded has been ticking along beautifully for the last few months.. suddenly some of my songs crash when I click anywhere on the master bus in the mixer pane. If I move the fader or insert something into the master bus inside the bus pane, it's all good. But the moment I touch the fader or ProChannel on the master bus in the mixer window... total and immediate shutdwon, with no problem reporter option or anything else. I'm afraid I don't like this feature much.. Anyone else have an opinion?
 
 

Yes I have an opinion - if it was happening to me, I wouldn't like it either.

It does beg the question, have you changed anything on your system recently? Drivers? Soundcard?

Nope. Other than keeping my RME updated it's pretty-much a locked system.

So it only happens on some projects?

Can you narrow it down to a specific plugin?

Have you added any new ones recently, especially freebies? (and especially 32 bit bridged plugs)

Ludwig, one other thing, do you get the same behaviour if you access the Master bus from within Track View?

It only seems to happen in the Mixer pane.. really weird. no mnew plugs as far as i rememeber..

Have you tried deleting the existing master bus and inserting a new one?
