Second update to last week's major new release
Version 5.0.2 of
Thermionik (our newly released amp modeling suite with 25 amp models) has been posted in the
members’ area for registered users. This is a recommended critical bug fix update, and contains many improvements (see the
version history page in the manual for details.)
A free demo version will be released soon, with a separate announcement when it goes live. Now that things are really feeling rock solid in 5.0.2, it won't be much longer!
Notes for Recabinet 4 Users
If you already own Recabinet 4, you get a free update to version 5 of its included amp emulation bundle - Modern Classics I. This means you get all of the channels, features, and controls of the emulated hardware (many of which were omitted in version 4), plus the all new Thermionik 5 engine, which improves tube and tone stack modeling accuracy, and lowers CPU usage.
