Hi, I am trying to run an Antares VST that is 32 bit in sonarx1, I keep adding the VST but it does not show up in X1. I thought X1 could run the 32 buit VSTs no? Thank you, Ben

generally .... no.

some folks here might have a work around but the best option is to get the updated VST for 64 bit operation.

I run a 32bit system, so my big thing now is to be sure everything I obtain will still run on 32.

Have you scanned for vst's and also ensured that the vst is in the correct folder location (ie. one that is on the list of folders to scan)?

I don't use Antares anymore. I know that Antares is one of the plugins that don't work any good in any bitbridge. You should try out something that are 1 billions times better the Antares autotune and it's called Melodyne. 90% of all professional use that today not antares.
Its support full x64bit too and you will be amazed what you can do with it! Try the 30 days free demo and see for yourself. Check the videos.

If there is a 64 bit version, thats the best bet, but if Sonar's built in BitBridge won't work try JBridge, you can try the demo first to see if it solves the problem.

I have a few Antaers plugs and run in 64 bit.
As Glyn suggested they work for me using JBridge but not so well under BitBridge.

My system is 99% 64bit now, I only use 1 or 2 32bit plugins, just because they don't make them in 64bit and I love them.  They do bridge fine in 64bit Sonar.

Melodyne is really the way to go for Pitch correction.. no doubt  ; )

Nope, either insert or stand alone.
As far as I know anyway.
And I've been using Melodyne for about 4 years now.
