This seems like a bug, but perhaps its something else.  + I may have seen a thread about this, but I totally can't find the thread now.  Either way, what's up with faser's meters..  they seem to be stuck at the bottom, even with the transport stopped, and no input at all

I can't see what is going on here but is it possible that you changed the scale?

scale as in music scale?  or scale of the photo? ( image shack may have done that... ) can I interest you in a box.net?  https://www.box.com/s/bba1b16824fad2e06704

and also..  is there scaling on the mixer?  ( that's a serious question.  i've never heard of mixer scaling before, but you know.. music production is like a never ending ocean of things to learn. )

thanks you though

cheers

You can set the range that the meters read, in dB

From Page 271 of the Reference Guide:-

2. The default meter range is from 0 dB to -60 dB. To change the range, right-click on the meter and choose a new range from the menu.

I'm not saying this is the problem, but it answers the question about meter range/scale

cheers

Noise from one of the inputs? You may have a low level hum or hiss that's causing that.
