Thanks Laney, looks like a great deal.  However, when I attempt to acquire it the store wants to charge me the 18$ tax it would have on the full price, even though the price with the coupon (which was successfully redeemed) should be zero.
 
I have opened a ticket with Don't crack so we'll see what happens...

I got the email; put it in my "cart", applied the discount code, and the price was reduced to $0.00;  already downloaded and got the serial immediately.  Will install this weekend.

It's okay, and no disrespect to Nomad or their offering this as a freebie. I have a lot of Nomad plugs, as in a lot of money invested in them. They have weathered the test of time.
 
Two controls for overdrive and compression, then some eq type spins on the compression control. Nice plug that I'm grateful to have. Already archived it with my zillion other compressors and probably won't see the digital light of day after I'm done playing with it for a day or so.

Bernie Torelli who is the original programmer and founder of Nomad Factory just passed away from cancer. This plugin giveaway is to thank the supporters who were donating money to the family to cover medical costs. This is a really nice gesture during a sad time for the family, friends and Nomad Factory staff. God bless them all.

Yes, can't forget Bernie. Driving force and taken down by the plague of cancer.
 
Freebus will never be a go to compressor for me. Cool comp, but in all honesty, washed out in the sea of other plugins regardless of the intent or motive to release.
 
Good in retrospect to have given to his mounting and astronomical medical bills. Don't know how much I actually helped in the bigger picture.
 
Regarding cancer, can't find a whole lot of positives if and when you are diagnosed and struggling.
 
Been fighting cancer for about 20 years. Chemo and losing more body parts than I knew I had body parts. Doc said there were four medical factors attributing to my survival.
 
Too mean.
Too crude
Too irreverent.
Too dumb to know I should have dropped dead ten years ago,
