So I have a project with all tracks frozen, including midi. I've exported and have mastered these songs, now I'd like to free some disk space of tracks/take lanes with unused audio.

My danger zone here is that after freezing these tracks, I applied effects on top of the frozen tracks (eq, reverb, delays, etc.) BIG MISTAKE IN THE LONG RUN IVE FOUND.

My Question is,
If I use the save as and "copy all audio" to start a new project with only the files used (all frozen) will it then save only the frozen tracks and effects?

Or will I find that on the new project everything's still there and I did nothing to save disk space? All unused take lane audio is still within the frozen track??

I'd done this before I knew once you unfreeze you loose any edits to that track.. I know I could bounce these frozen tracks then unfreeze and delete the takes, but if I can have sonar just save everything that frozen only to the new project that would be great!

Thanks ahead of time.

As Freezing is something that will remain Undo-able also after saving under a new name, so, according to my logics,
all the audio material related to the frozen tracks will remain on the disc.
IIRC, you can simply drag the frozen audio and the FX-bin content to a new track, and then delete the originals, if you're 110% sure you won't need them. Then save under a new name, AND delete the original project and its audio (I assume you use Per Project Audio folders).
