I have another issue that has been “bugging” me. See what I did there? Is that clever? By the way, I absolutely love SONAR and will keep using it and supporting it as it is a fantastic tool. I am only pointing these things out to help improve this product that I believe in.

Here is the issue with using the Fade Clips and filling gaps operation
1.       Select clips that belong to a group
2.       Click “Clips”, select Fade Clips
3.       Select “Fill Gaps, XFade between Audio Clips”
4.       Enter values for XFade and Max Gap, select Fade in and Fade out curves
5.       Hit OK
What I expect: All clips in my selection will perform the operation
What Happens: Only a few clips perform the operation, the rest are ignored
When SONAR is first started, it does indeed behave normally, as I expect. But after a little while, the problem I have described creeps in.

This update killed my Roland DuoCapture EX ASIO drivers.

Last night I was working and everything was fine, this morning I installed this update and it said I must select a different model.

WASAPI is selectable, ASIO is gone.

This however happened after I had started SPlat and my mouse hung in the wait mode when I opened the Loopmasters media folder looking for the new loops. I had to kill it after 30min with Task Manager and reboot (it wouldn't restart). Only then did I get the error message.

I want to emphasize I have kept up with very nearly all updates, including EAs, and have never ever had issues.

Details:
Win10. No internet, I transfer updates by thumb drive from work.
When I closed SPlat the second time, after Splat itself was gone, there were small blue progress bars on the top center of my screen saying something like "Extracting REX files". It happened very quickly.

Oh, man. This is really costing time to investigate and fix. The driver zip file I downloaded back then contains nothing but a html page that says the drivers are installed only over the internet.

I have to take my rig to work on Moday to reinstall my drivers.

I'm gonna have to rethink my updating strategy. In future, only install if it's a fix I need.

How come the Loopmasters are not automatically installed under Media in the Loopmasters folder?

Because they aren't from loopmasters. They're from big fish audio

Ah. Oh. Um.
Well, why is there no Big Fish folder, then?

Strange. Tried my ancient Cakewalk UA-25EX - Sonar sees it, so I can work for now.

Ah, as frankjcc said, they are where WAV files points to in the Preferences, in my case, Cakewalk Projects.

I moved the whole directory into Cakewalk Content\Audio Library and now they show up in my Media folder.

My DUO-CAPTURE ASIO is working again!

This is what I did.

Go to
C:\Programs\Roland\DUO-CAPTURE EX Driver\Files
Ensure the interface is connected (else it will tell you to).
Start:
RDDP1135.EXE
The familiar ASIO settings window opens.
Change something, anything, and click OK. (I checked the buffer size checkbox.)
Open Sonar. It will scan the interface and it is back in operation.
Go to Driver Settings, open the ASIO Panel and put the setting you changed back.
(I had Sonar in WASAPI mode still, so I had to change that back first)

When I started Sonar for the first time, the VST scanner found 1 new plug.
What new plug has been added?

Edit: Oh, its probably the amp cab.
But I'm sure I skipped TH3.

Since my internet connection consists of two tin cans and a string, I can never get Command Center to work properly - I really need a "resume" function - so I end up downloading things directly when I can find them.
I can't find direct downloads for the Big Fish Audio loops thru Cakewalk... but the BigFishAudio page has what looks to be the same Free Downloads under their Free Loops section. When I downloaded the Free Sample Pack - Cinematic, I got a 10% off loops coupon. Just FYI... (and, can anybody confirm that these are the same loops being offered in the Command Center?)
