First time I've really heard your guitar work bats, did thoroughly enjoy it. Wookiee is right, you must have an extra couple of fingers, or something.
I can hear what Jeff is saying, the kick seems to come through with a real thump, and this weakens the other low frequencies somewhat. Not really sure if this matters in the scheme of things as the song stands up really well anyways. Not sure I agree with the bass being too loud, but then I'm a bass player so....
Great stuff, will look forward to more of your tracks.

i was really trying to NOT channel any stevie ray,
man, i loved that guys playing....
but not my thing, really...
it's just that, after 35 years of playing ALL styles, i just pull out whatever little vibe thing i want at the moment....
if i had THOUGHT about it, i probably would have edited it out....
those little SRV'ish licks...
but what the hey.....
some people take the heat for sticking too close to someone else's identifiable style....
and i'm trying to be as original as possible.
it's a weird fence to have to walk across, without falling.

i've been working on the mix, and i've calmed the kick down a bit, without losing the power....
i like the bass loud, but i HAVE eq'd some of the more aggressive upper mid out of it, it's more balanced now.
