I decided to leave this one simple. Played on my acoustic and sang the parts.
 
The idea for the song came after waking from  very sad  dream with this melody in my head.
 
I didn't have the words so I worked on words that seemed to fit what I felt. I didn't write this song about myself or anyone I directly know, although it resonates with me in some ways .  It seems to be more synonymous with lonliness in general and missing someone. I guess we have all been there.

Westside steve- Its funny. I was sad when I came up with the lyrics but I got the distinct feeling I wrote it for someone else.I guess from that perspective it came from my heart to who ever they might be.
