Agreed sharke.. Their customer service was pretty dismissive when I brought this to their attention.. Love their software, seriously dislike their customer support.

I have upgrade issues on 4 machines with NI installers.  Do not remove any of the software.  In your account you can only install and download updates.  If you remove Kontakt the upgrade installer will not work.
 
Installing my updates always fail.  For some reason my only fix is to use windows installer cleanup utility to remove NI software and then the updates work.  I posted this on their forum and two of us seem to have these issues.

Installers aren't rocket science. I've never understood the mentality of software developers who create the most amazing tools and then screw up something so basic.
