This is a song made with Sonar X3 Producer, 12 tracks of Tone2's Saurus.

As usual in the One Synth Challenge (OSC) only "one synth" can be used, no Battery3 or other plugins like that to help out.
No effects that can modulate the signal are allowed either, like flanger, chorus, etc. I just used the built-in Saurus effects, Quadcurve EQ on half of the tracks, and the Sonitus Multiband compressor on the master bus.

This time the OSC was different as you could pick Any One Synth (free or commercial), but no sample-based plugins could be used (Wusikstation, Kontakt, etc).  For more info on Saurus, here's a review I wrote on it:  http://soundbytesmag.net/saurusbytone2/

I hear lots of classic synth music influences and the mix sounds very radio ready.

Thanks for sharing.

I did not hear the bass that good in the first half of the song, but in the second half then it seemed louder although I was playing with the volume control on my speakers during playing it.
Well, sounded different and fine.

Thanks, this is was under a bit of pressure as I didn't really start it till til late in the OSC.
I had about 10 days to produce it, but that's before and after my day job. Then when I thought it was all done, I found out about something in the OSC rules, and had to replace a couple of my presets I was using. The last day before the deadline was me just making sure it sounded good (again) with the new sounds thrown in, and mixing it over and over till it was good enough to post on Soundcloud.

There also is an mp3 version to download on Soundcloud, sounds a lot better that way.
