I'm considering using a larger screen, I want to see more tracks without loss of image quality.
Does anyone know what specs I should be looking for?
Machine: Asus P6T, 16 RAM, Intel 3.33 i975 quad core, win 7 Ult, Sonar 8.5.33

Its not the size, its the resolution. In other words..
You wont see more tracks because you have a larger TV. You'll see more tracks because you have a larger resolution.
You want a TV with a good refresh rate and pixel density.
 
Im going to be honest here, im not a brain wiz when it comes to doing this. I simply know from my own experience. 
I use a 42 inch Visio HDTV with Sonar. It looks amazing. I use the HDMI port. (I also have a VGA port that doesn't look to shabby either). Thing is, rather than seeing more tracks, you just see the tracks larger scale.
 

If you want to see more tracks, you have to increase the resolution. The thing is then the images are smaller so you have to bring the TV closer to your eyes. It becomes a bit of tail chasing to find just the right balance between resolution and detail on screen.

Hello, I concur with the previous answer/recommendations.  I use a Samsung 40 in. 4k unit.  I had to purchase a DVI F to HDMI M adaptor to hook it up.  I bought it on sale after Christmas for $299.  If I had room for another one I would get it to go with my dual out video card.
 
I love it.  I used to use two 22" monitors, and still do at a remote location, and that was fine for floating windows and such.  I prefer the large screen even though it can sometimes get cluttered, but that is something that can be tweaked.

edit- I forgot to mention it is great for video editing and photoshop work too.  The model I have has wifi capability, so you could do yt videos and what not, but I have not used it for that.

Get a UHD TV and an NVidia 750TI video card. Connection is HDMI. I found a 47 inch tv is too big because you have to look up to use all the screen. Unfortunately they don’t make anything smaller than 47” in UHD anymore. The NVidia card works with a 300w power supply. Resolution is the same as a 22” computer monitor with 4 times the real estate.
