Before purchase I would recommend to download the Demo.
Lacking parts
I. real-time chord change. Still haven't tried it yet.
ii. The workaround needed to understand the required/suggested patches [where I am using TTS-1]
iii. I haven't find the option to change the style while its playing.
iv. We have to define the entire accompaniment before, if we want record the entire song at one go.
v. I haven't seen the articulations, the arranger section does with the super-articulated voices available on PSRs/Tyros.

But overall my feeling is:
I. I am using Yamaha styles
ii. I haven't brought any of the arranger keyboards
iii. I can determine the chords I will be using in my song [may be there will be some changes]
iv. Initially I look for an overall arrangements to understand how the song will flow and to create the prelude/interlude music.
v. Accompaniment editing is not that difficult, obviously not having interface like Jammer/BIAB
vi. Not sure about the styles for BK/PA series.
vii. Much affordable than any good PSR arranger keyboard.
viii. What I am recording is MIDI+Audio. So I can very well manipulate them according to my wish.

I need to spent some more time to get more workaround to have a template saved to minimize the setting up time.

I am just curious. Is there something this program can do better then OMB (http://www.1manband.nl/omb.htm) ?
From what I see in the video and playing with demo version, the only advantage is $10 in price... No style editing, no configurable live performance, no lyrics, etc.

HI AZSLOW,

I will install OMB. I will check up and tell.
One point what I was interested that PSR Styles hugely available over net. I was planning for buying PSR S-Series or Tyros. Then I came across this and thought I can have the Arranger Keyboard in-the-box.

During this time I had interacted with the Company and suggested certain things and they also incorporated.
I used Jammer. There I had found capability of style editing. But I don't think they operate anymore and not being updated for long. BIAB is a bit pricy after introduction of Real Tracks.

Actually I don't want to go much away from Sonar Workspace. Something like I put a MIDI Chord Track within SONAR and a plug in or a little work around where I will get the style/accompaniment in conjunction with Sonar and I can record within Sonar and later manipulate that.

Love Sonar.

HI MESH.. MUST SEE THE LINK AZSLOW REFERRED.

Hi Snehankur, I'll check that link once I get home (at work, it's a blocked/blacklisted site). I'm guessing OMB is just missing the B in front?

Now I understand why when I googled for it to post the link, Google has asked for a confirmation I am a human because of "strange activity from your IP"

One note about OMB with TTS-1. At least for me, TTS-1 is not playing correctly repeating notes from OMB in direct streaming mode. That happens with TTS-1 only and only when streaming directly. Once recorded into Sonar, the same tracks (which sounded strange) play normal.

I tried to used TTS-1 as to keep the thing simple, just as a 16-track midi which will take all Patch-Bank change, volume etc automatically.

Yes I also found some glitches. But I ignored them for the time being to understand OMB. The style changes are in real time and chord changes of course. Demo giving me time for 60 secs only. Yet to purchase. Have you tried to have a MIDI track on Sonar to drive the accompaniment section of OMB? I have to go to work now. Will try after coming back.
