It is possible to guide OMB from Sonar using one or more input MIDI tracks. But I think it is simpler just construct final sequence inside OMB and open it as MIDI in Sonar. Try with demo files, you get 16 MIDI tracks plus Lyrics track and all relevant information as markers.

I was trying OMB. I faced a problem regarding Tempo.
) and - are for tempo down and up respectively. But the step is 5 i.e, 130 changing to 125 or 135. Couldn't find to change the step for tempo change to 1.

..still searching.

For 1 I also do not know... for 2, assign some CC to "Tempo" in preferences. I think they have made "2" so the available range is up to 250bpm (MIDI range is 1-127).

EDIT. I think it is about time to create new thread with the title "OMB". That all has nothing to do with AMAC

It's ok (by me).....good to see these discussions that include all/any software that'll improve our creativity.......in one place.

Looks like an interesting tool......if Toontrack did this, it would be EZ Accompaniment .

Yes it would be called that. And your 2016 shreddie upgrade plan would have more holes in it than...(I figured I'd let you guys fill it in)

It is interesting. May just take some time to see what it actually is.

Thanks AZSLOW. I have got one knob on my Nectar mapped to cc-20 to change the tempo. now obviously the change is 2.
Next I am not being able to figure out so that OMB start/stop to be controlled by DAW start stop.
Thanks

That I also do not know how to achieve... it looks like OMB does not respond on MMC/time stamps. All other methods are going to produce "out of sync" result. I only see the way to assign for example "PC-100" to start/stop in OMB and insert that messages into some MIDI track in sonar at positions that should happened, for example at the beginning and at the end of the song. That way everything is more or less in sync, at least with reproducible delay.
