If TSS  is still supported by the likes of Sonar and Reaper, why having to look elsewhere if it still works well.
 
32 bit versus 64 bit for a scratch pad may not be an issue except for on paper specs.
 
What is the reason having to update if the basics are already solid and functional. Maybe missing something here, but why not continue with TSS if it does the job. Big fan of TSS here and IMHO, it has relevant utility until the next operating system kicks it out. Then time to change because of the force of circumstances. Likely up the line, dxi will be abandoned and the move will be forced. Til then, save money for the family. Just my opinion.

Because I also work in DP, which doesn't do DXi's. It's also hit & miss with 32 bit bridges. I'm hoping to be able to use the same tool on both platforms. Otherwise, you're right, no need to upgrade.
