Yes, it works. But it is all about the timing.
Timing is the difference between a home run and an epic fail.
Look for the vulnerable moments, and then a simple "I love you baby," will get you most of the way there. Then it's all about scales and chords.
Works for more than guitars too. It's one of my go to plug ins.
