Nice and floaty.  Could work as an intro or add lines and make it longer, but why?  Works well as is.

Works as an intro, I would pull that percussive key part that seems to have the lead back a little bit and actually add a lead/melody instrument over the top. But hey? Everybody's a producer...

Thanks Robbie.  Now you've got me thinking.  Hmm.

Very nice intro - the changes that are going on in the background are very subtle.
If you really want any crits/ideas then maybe use a radical filter on the main riff but fade it in verrrrry slowly with automation so the sound changes over the piece.

Thanks Daryl.  Double hmm!!

Interesting ideas... okay, I added a few new things and just posted a remix!  Thanks for your ideas guys!

This will make a nice intro into your cd. Well mixed as usual...How close are you to being finished with the project?

Hey Clint, thanks.  Although I just posted a new version. :)  As far as the album project goes, I'm not all that close to be honest, but I really want to get it done this year, and I'm hoping to motivate myself by saying the date out loud. :)

Thanks AT.  Well... I did make it a little longer, but not too bad I hope.

Hi Walt. I like the etherial backing on this. The main keyboard motif sound kind of bugs me though.
It's just so digital.
I think it's the flange effect that is the culprit. Maybe. Is that a DimPro patch?

Thanks Tim.  It's actually z3ta+2, and the phasing is coming from a big fat filter I just added on top of it.  I could probably back off on the resonance a bit.  I probably overdid it.

There ya go!!!

That was a great job on reworking the tune.   The reverb and the cello make a huge difference as does the little flute thing that first hits at :38......  you successfully kept the repeating lick but now, it is a background theme and other things in the mix keep you interested and focused on what is coming next....

The best reworking of a tune I've heard in some time. Outstanding job.

Thanks again Herb.  Your earlier suggestions helped as well.

Walt, this is very lovely and trippy at the same time.  It allows the listener to be immersed in the song and float on top of it.  As usual, very impressive!
