Thanks Lynn.  I think "trippy" is probably where I hang out, although oddly I don't do drugs!  I just have a lot of time invested in trying to make sense of psychedelic jams from the '60s-'70s by Pink Floyd and the Grateful Dead.

Nice!!  I listened first when Soundclick played it as a suggestion piece!  Then I found you here!  I liked this immediately.  Nice sounding strings!

I missed the earlier version, but I like this. It serves your intent as an appetizer, and while it sounds nice on its own, it definitely set me up for what's coming next.

Trippy, spacey, psychedelic, call it what you will, it is all of them put together to bring you on a journey "Among The Stars" in Walt's spaceship of sounds. I find it all quite interesting and mind invoking, but I still hear some guitar needed in there to postulate the theme. Nice work thus far Walt.

@olemon: Your words humble me.  You are a great songwriter and producer.  I can't do Americana like you can.  I used to try though.  But in the last year and a half I've been studying synth sounds and using them as my instruments instead of guitars.  It's been a fun learning experience. :)
