Hey guys, here's a quick cover I did with a band last summer for a gig we never actually applied for. Anyway, just around to mixing it. What do you think? As always, helpful criticism is welcome.

First impression, love the vocal. You are just about to start mixing?

Just a little too much empty space at the end.

Sounds like you occasionally doubled the snare (it's a bit distracting) or it's out of phase with OH's?

Not my genre really, but it's good. The chorus is catchy, and yeah you've got the vocals for it. I could hear this on the radio, easy. Seems like the volume was really low, and it sounds unfinished...but you've got it going on here buddy. I'd listen again when it's done.

the "finished" version will be interesting
agree with Bapsi-have you resampled the snare?-very first impression reminded me of a DR 808 sample but you did say it was live?
