Just about to upgrade from Office 2007 to 2016 (thanks to my roommate!).  Has anyone already installed 2016 yet?  Anything weird or funky to take note of?

Personally, I can't wait to ditch the 2007 Outlook component!  I've had issues for months with it...  The rest of the applications have been fine so I'm hoping nothing gets messed up.

I have it, all seems OK so far. Had problems downloading it again after I had to do a fresh W10 install (took about 6 attempts but got there in the end), no issues since. All my Excel spreadsheets and Word files open up fine.

Been using it for over a year now from Beta. Been fantastic to use.
My only complaint is they dropped my unlimited storage on 365. It's now 1TB. :\

Cool, good to know!  I guess I should have noted that I have the non-365 version, but there shouldn't be any difference in the product should there?  Only in the means of licensing I believe (online versus not).

I'm on 2013 and absolutely hate it. I think the interface sucks and have to hit the help files to anything more complicated than typing. Sounds like I'm the odd man out, but I hate using it.

The Lovely Lady still uses Office 2000 on Windows 8.1 (gotta get her on Win 10 soon).

My lovely lady updated and I get also get to use it, as it allows to share the license. Nothing to complain about with the Mac version. I was still using 2008.

I have all but uninstalled Office 2010.  Been using Libre for the last few months.  Much better, IMO.  And the price is great.  I done several PowerPoint and Word doc exchanges with TLMBF and there have been zero compatibility problems.  So far.  My next machine build will be sans MS Office

My install of Office is stuck in 2010. And I don't use Outlook any more - I used to use Outlook calendars for my business, syncing them to Google Calendars for processing, but I got so pissed off with the Outlook/Google sync tool screwing up things like recurring events that I ditched Outlook altogether and switched to Google. The only reason I stuck with Outlook for so long was because Google doesn't really have very good calendar editing functionality (not even cut and paste!) but in the end I found that the cheap calendar app I use on my iPhone (WeekCal) actually has better editing functionality than Outlook. Amazing isn't it? I have to do a lot of heavy calendar editing every day and I'm more productive with a $2 app on my phone than I ever was with a desktop app I paid over $100 for.
