I'm trying to write/edit CC data into my tracks to control my TC Electronics DittoX4 looper pedal. The pedal has these values specified as what it listens to (using MIDI channel 4):
CC3 Looper 1 Rec/Dub/Start
CC9 Looper 1 Stop
CC14 Looper 1 Clear
CC15 Looper 1 Level
CC20 Looper 1 Hold to Store
CC21 Looper 1 Clear Backtrack
CC22 Looper 2 Rec/Dub/Start
CC23 Looper 2 Stop
CC24 Looper 2 Clear
CC25 Looper 2 Level
CC26 Looper 2 Hold to Store
CC27 Looper 2 Clear Backtrack
CC28 Decay "Level"
CC29 All Loops Stop
CC30 All Loops Clear
CC31 FX On/Off
CC85 Parallel/Serial Toggle
 
These values intentionally avoid the more common CC values (i.e. 7-Volume) to avoid conflicts. The problem is, SOnar doesn't seem to be able to write/playback any of the Control values I need. Any ideas?

Sonar can send CC.
Check with "Event view" what you try to send, especially that you send values "127" (followed by 0, which is ignored by device but allow "trigger" the command again).
Check that the track output is pointing toward X4.
Use not "track envelopes" but CC part of PRV (the result should be the same, but MIDI events of such type is simpler to operate in PRV).
Check that you have the firmware which support MIDI CC (newer then 1.0).

Many thanks for your time. I'm following everything you're saying however it appears that Sonar has limited the Values that it allows to the standard one...the ones that the pedal isn't using. This screen cap shows the values that Sonar allows.

Sorry, that thumbnail is tiny. Here is a link showing the values that Sonar allows. Those work just fine except I need the values that aren't in that drop down list...the one I need are the list shown above used by the TC pedal.

A CC number may be entered directly in the Value field above the drop down.
