In the van down by the river his landlord called him to her office to tell him according to her records he gets $2000 therefore, his rent will be adjusted to that amount. Not only that, Since Willy's been there for 5 years he has to pay back money from those dates.
My $.02 from reading this is that it sounds like Swamp Bred Willy is possibly living in some sort of subsidized housing complex where rents are determined based on income.  She sees one-thing. The reality is quite another. If that is the case, I would make an attempt to sit and speak with landlord lady and explain how Willy's retirement funds have been court-ordered to be doled out. If she needs some proof, find out what is needed and provide. Maybe it is just a misunderstanding.  I hope it works out.

This is NO misunderstanding.  They are aware of what and how they are doing it. Me being an elderly disabled and ILL Vet that apparently has no way to defend the dictation of an apartment complex manager.

I received a letter from the Senator today. He stated he is directing departments and people to act on the info I gave him. I thought my sister was fibbing about knowing and/or talking to him about current events. 
 
She also talked to the State Representative here in my area. Thank you Ham N  Egz!!!!!

I wasn't happy after reading the few initial posts, but I'm glad to see some progress and hopefully good results will come out of this. Looks like you're dealing with a bunch of nincompoops there Bill, so stupidity will happen.

They know exactly what they are doing! It was thought that I would put my tail between my legs and do as I was told. There is much more that has not been said and the way things were and are done disgusts me. It's underhanded.  Everyone has to realize if they're doing this to me they are doing it to others.

I see things on the news about tenants taking advantage of the system. I thinks it far more the other way around.
