  • Is the Rapture Pro Multisamples directory location held in the Win 10 Registry?

Sorry for starting yet another thread on what appears to be a common topic but my question is slightly different:
I would like to move the Rapture Pro Multisamples directory to another location having cocked this up during the initial install (don’t ask). Problem is, I can’t find a Win 10 Registry entry for the Rapture Pro Factory samples, only Registry entries for the Dimension Pro (1.5) and Rapture (1.2.2) multisamples directories that I have and which Rapture Pro cleverly found on install.
I thought a simple reinstall from Command Center might do the trick, so I entered the Multisample directory location I wanted when prompted by the install program, but the initial location hasn't changed. So it looks like the initial location must get stored somewhere, and it isn’t updated on a reinstall.
Possibly uninstalling Rapture Pro and then reinstall it giving the correct Multisample directory path this time might work, but I would rather just edit a Registry or RP.ini entry, if one exists.
Any help greatly appreciated.

The multisample folder along with a few others is located in the "Rapture Pro" folder the path specified in the SampleDataDir key in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Cakewalk Music Software

Thank you Scook for your help, I am all sorted now and have all the Rapture Pro Factory Samples at the location I intended.
Just one more quick question: I have the Dimension Pro 1.5 and Rapture 1.2 sample sets that came with those products already on my workstation and Rapture Pro has found them okay; do I still need to download the D-Pro Part 1, D-Pro Part 2, and the Rapture Classic sample sets from the Command Center for completeness, or are these simply the sample sets that I already have installed, it sounds likely.
Many thanks.

They are the sounds included with DPro and Rapture. One difference is the Rapture Classic files are flac format. The original Rapture does not support the format.

After installing all the libraries provided with Rapture Pro on a new selected multisample directory, can I uninstall the previous version of the softwares (i.e. Dimension Pro and Rapture)? Thank you.

Old projects which rely on DPro and Rapture will still need DPro and Rapture to open and play back correctly.
