Walt,

I generally don't go in for a trad arrangement of cover songs (unless they have Weird Al type lyric). I like to find an alternative way of doing the song (and it makes for less critical comparison on the vocals ).

Now, if I am covering a song for My Lovely Lady, she prefers a trad arrangement. I no longer make music to get the chicks and I've got the keeper now.

Walt,

My mate Jaymes and I are working on a more conventional cover an udder one from the same album.

That sounds like great fun. :)

So I can hum!

<Pause to download and listen to the 24bit wave version playing back through Soundforge 9 with span 2.2 in Plugin chain>

Definitely sounds much bettera and the playing is all excellent.

However, here at The 4077, the bass appears to roll off from about 100Hz and there still seems to be little body to the kick which is normally in that 60 to 80Hz band.  Again this could just be the furry ear filters.
