Hi! I'd like to ask some help on assigning a keybinding to my MIDI keyboard, as I am keeping my instruments on a separate room, and I'd like to move between tracks from the keyboard.

I’m trying to move to next or previous strip on Console View with the MIDI keyboard, but that was not working.
On the other hand, if I assign it for the PC keyboard it will work fine.

Also I've seen MIDI keyboard works well for Playing/Stop, enabling Input Echo and focus on track or bus panel.

Thanks in advance!

Hi! Does anybody have seen this issue before?

I’m trying to assign keybindings to my MIDI keyboard and move to next or previous strip on Console View, but it's not working.
On the other hand, if I assign it for the PC keyboard it will work fine.

Also I've seen MIDI keyboard works well for Playing/Stop, enabling Input Echo and focus on track or bus panel.
Maybe I've missed something?

I do such things with AZ Controller. ACT MIDI can do this as well.
MIDI bindings are simple to use and are sufficient in some cases, when they work...

Hi, azslow3!

Thanks! I'll try AZ Controller and ACT MIDI too!

Thanks! I'll try AZ Controller and ACT MIDI too!

Please try that in reversed order...

Read the documentation how to insert "ACT MIDI" and learn buttons "B7" and "B8".
For ACT MIDI, in the "Options" tab:
* Select "Bank 1" "B7" and then "Previous Selected Track"
* Select "Bank 1" "B8" and then "Next Selected Track"
B7/B8 should navigate current track then

With AZ Controller that is more complicated (but you can do much more, such as selecting named tracks with dedicated buttons, making "shift" functionality as in Keybinding, so you can still use the keys normally till you press "shift", etc).

Wow, thanks!
I'll read the documentation and follow the procedures!

I tried to use ACT in the past, but I didn't study it, so it was a bit hard to use.
However with this one it seems it will work!
