Hup... You know the drill... Posting to support those who comment, and bury those who do not. More should consider this approach.

I just came across this song - very nice work, I enjoyed listening! Loggins & Messina were one of my favorite bands in the 70s and this was always one of my favorite L&M tunes, and you guys really nailed the nuances of the arrangement. Your guitar player did a excellent job of reproducing all of those Jimmy Messina licks and fills, and you guys stuck real close to the horn arrangements - that couldn't have been easy! And it wouldn't be easy to copy a Kenny Loggins vocal performance, he's got such a powerful and expressive voice, but your vocals work well. Very nice job guys!

I saw L&M in the 70s, and then a few years ago Jimmy Messina played with a band in a nearby town and I got to see him and meet him there. And they did Angry Eyes!

Thank you so much Ruben. We worked hard on it? In fact, due to issues on both our parts, it took the better part of a year for us to complete this?

I give much respect, and props to my colab partner, Mr. Markno999... He is the f'ing man. He is the mix master, he controlled all of the percussion, guitars, and mixed in all of my stuff (vox, saxes, I played the bass originally, but not in the final product)

It was a team effort? And I was very glad to be part of the team :-Dv

Thank you for listening, and for commenting...

I can honestly say, it's the greatest colab I've ever had the pleasure to have contributed on?

And I give all of the credit to my good friend, Mr. No999, He is the man as a musician, and as an engineer, Mark "rules..." I am talented? But when I grow up? I would like to be as talented as him :-)

listening again reminds me how I miss the jam bands of that time.
Today it's "beatz". But, most of those Beatz don't know what a Groove is.
