I posted this song here last year, and have now done a new mix where the song is heard a little more. I have changed much in the mix (some sounds as well) so everything is a bit clearer. Well, maybe the drummers like the old version better... ;)

It is a song about a Horror movie producer that scare his wife, and he is sad she left him. I wrote it originally in 1993, did a remake last year and now a re-mix. I have struggled to find the right level for the bass volume in my songs, is the level ok now?

Take a listen to some swedish:

Nice remix on this. It would be interesting to hear and English vocals version of this. Good job. Nice instrumentation and the vocals are nice and clear. The picture you used fits right in on this song. Nicely done.

Peace and Blessings, John

Thank you for your answer and for taking time to listen! I have thought of making an english version but haven't come up with a catchy translation yet. Maybe later.

New version is much better, and it's a very nice mix, but...
The vocals are slightly too buried for my taste. Maybe it's not a question of raising the vocals but more carving a hole for them in the mix.
Swede as well by the way, so that might be why I'm a bit sensitive on the vocals. The lyrics wasn't audible all the way.

I think this is very cool song because it is well arranged and performed.  I do think the lyrics could come up in volume a bit, but I don't care a whit about it being in Swedish.  I think it's fun to listen to a good song in any language.

Great stuff Lasse - I agree - vocals need to come up in the mix. Love the backing vocals - very tasteful

Notnat, Beltrom, Lynn, Daryl1968: Thank you all for taking time to listen and your encouraged comment! It got me going back to the mixing board. I still feel like a newbie in compressing, EQ and making a balanced mix. I "try and error" very much until I'm satisfied without knowing exactly what I'm doing. I guess the more I do the more I learn... Anyway most of you thought the vocals was too soft, so I tried to change volyme, raise compression, remove some reverb in the vocals, change EQ on piano, guitar and channel tooling. Every time it resulted in sounding like the background wasn't hearable and thin. I want everything to sound great (of course!) with a clear background harmonics and power in the lows. What method should I be using to accomplish this?

Always good to listen to music irrespective of the language of the vocal.  Perhaps a little less verb on the Vox may sharpen them.
