You can give your site a custom name once. You can't change it ever. It's in the settings somewhere...I'll try to look it up when I get a chance.

the openness of the rhythm guitar allows it sit nice and upfront (the kit)
i hear the vox loud and clear....
i'd love to hear some more bottom from the bass, to help balance the high end you got going with the guitars, vocals, snares and hats
i think the bass should be the hottest thing in the mix on this one.....
dig the solo section at the end....
 

Hi Mike. Man, I love the tone of the guitars, and I'm digging that main riff. Love the words as usual. The mix sounded good and I love the drum sound. The only critique I would have is that during the opening beat, you can tell the bass drum has very little damping. It rings a little too much to me, but that's just a personal opinion. I still think the song sounds great and has a cool raw feel to it.

I hear all kinds of influences on this, but not one more so than any other. Really like the mix and performances!

I have always been a big fan of your music, your mixes, and the tones you get on your creations; therefore your review of this song was extra special for me. I guess I am starting to do something's right. I will take a look at the Bass again. I love a lot of bass in songs, but because of that, I tend to overdue the bass much of the time. Because I am aware of this handicap of mine, I consciously dial it back a little on some tracks.....figuring that I am overdoing it.

Lead foot, thanks for listening brother. I hadn't notice that about the opening drum sounds, now is am going to have to listen to it again and see if I notice what you are pointing out.
