Hello,
What is this Crash Dump that you speak of? :)
I see some song files. Do I delete them? do I rescue them?

Thanks for the query.  I updated the tip to reflect the additional info.

If on the rare occasion SONAR crashes it usually captures the crash and saves it in a minidumps folder. If that folder doesn't exist or is empty, there's nothing to worry about.  Minidump files have the extension .dmp.  The filename has the title of the project that was open at the time of the crash and usually a date time suffix in the form _MMDDYYYY_HHMMSS.dmp

A minidump file contains information of use to developers in order to see the state of the running threads in the program as well as loaded modules.  We had built a system for capturing these, sending them to Cakewalk and doing the analysis.  However, if one were a plugin developer and using the plugin crashed SONAR, that dump can be used to find out why the plugin crashed.  Otherwise, if Fault Reporter submitted the issue to us, you don't need to resend it.

But if you have an offline system, then you can manually send those files to us for analysis.  For now you can PM me any of these, but please don't resend me ones that have already gone through the connected system.
