Ron, I thought the vocals were a little hot, maybe not. Don't like them to be too out front. Seem to not be part of the song if they're too loud (IMO).  I tried to have dynamics in the song, maybe not enough, though.

Yup, I do the same thing: keep the vocals "back there in the mix" and my wife always complains that she wants to hear them more clearly. Then I read somewhere that singers almost always want their voices "back there in the mix" and end up with it too "tucked away."

Maybe that applies here and maybe it doesn't. Just thought I'd pass it along.

I still really like the song, either way.

Nice!!  I like that flipped around guitar riff!  You're vocals remind me of Gil Moore from Triumph.  I thought the female vocals were really cool.  The harmonica riff is cool but it needsto be more forceful with more vibrato.  Overall I liked it a lot!!

Ron, thanks again.

patm300e, thanks for listening and for your comments.

ralph, had to look up Gil Moore and Triumph on youtube. Very good band. Thanks for the vocal comparison. The harmonica is actually a riff from a synth (z3ta +2). Wanted something just a little distracting to take away from the redundancy of the guitars for a moment or so. Thanks for listening and your comments. Glad you liked it.

Hey, Charlie,

You've got a nice punchy power rocker here with clever lyrics, great playing and excellent vocals and harmonies!

The mix sounds really good, and the guitar solo was dynamite.

Great work, buddy, have a good one!

I listed to this awhile ago and listening again I have to say I like the mix on this.  Everything is sharp and clear to me.

I don't think the vox is too loud, I like being able to hear the lyrics clearly... I'm often alone in that opinion...

Clever well-done rock number!

Daryl, thanks for listening and your comments. Put up a new mix for this. Changed it so many times, just not happy with the song.
