I've a project that needs some good pop/rock horns and I can't get what I need from SampleTank3 and Hypersonic2.
Any recommendations for a product that has samples with realistic 'bite'?
Thanks.

or the Diamond_Collection (which I have) and has a good selection of horns....very good stuff.

You can demo them for free and see if these will work for you.

NI Session Horns Pro or Chris Heins Horns. Chris Heins is a much bigger/deeper library, but Session Horns Pro is very usable and sounds great.

NI Session Horns Pro....

+1

Along with the Chris Hein Horns, others to consider:
Vir2 Mojo
Kick-Ass Brass
Garritan Big Band
Broadway Big Band
First Call Horns

The stuff from Spitfire, VSL, Samplemodeling, etc., while great, are aimed more for classical use.

Session horns or Session horns pro are good for pop/rock.Chris Heins Compact has great brass but might take more effort.

I love these, but I would not call them pop/rock.

Nothing to stop you using them in a pop or rock song but they are more orchestral .

Just got Session Horns Pro for Christmas and really love it! With a little work with the key switches I can get some pretty convincing horn ensembles or solo parts.
