Yeah, they're arguably the best, but OP asked about horns, not just saxes.

Are you guys suggesting that he buy the saxes and trumpet and trombone and create the horn section?

if you are still hunting...

Session Horns Pro sounds a LOT better, to me, than Session Horns, which I own, but don't use a lot.

Chris Hein Horns is brilliant - I own only the compact version right now, and it does take some time to learn, but the results have been pretty darned good. Certainly better than any of my other attempts. (at this point I think my disappointment comes down to my poor horn chart writing skills!)

Two others I still dig up from time to time:
- Chicago Horns, originally released for the EPS, but it imported nicely into Kontakt. Somewhat limited in terms of samples, and vibe - you're gonna sound like Chicago, but sometimes that's what you want!

- Greg Adam's Big Band Brass - it is a loop library, so again it has some limits, but I do love the sound!

The Greg Adam's library dovetails nicely with Chris Hein's Horns, for what it's worth!

Good luck and happy hunting!

Check out WIVI band. It's not too expensive and it's very versatile. It doesn't have every instrument, but it does have a tenor sax, a trumpet and a trombone. Of course it has many other instruments, but they might be less useful for poprock. They also bite pretty hard and layer well. Check it out

That is the best way to get a realistic horn section.
