The only thing that is sad, is that the folks that were with Edgar and were (supposedly) working on the new process for TD, have created something that sounds ... exactly the same. If you listen to the EP out there ... Quantum something or other ... there are nice things, but Peter Baumann leaving, makes me think that he wanted to explore the "sound" more, and the folks that were there, did not know how to do that and they could only break into a song like piece ... and so in one of the EP pieces, you get this massive start, only for it to break ... into a song!
I have a feeling that today's folks are not capable of doing something that is not "music", or a "song", and just simply try recreating something like Alpha Centauri, or Atem ... and in the end, it will not help the legacy go any further. Hopefully, this is just a teaser, and they have heard these comments ... and can go beyond melodic themes in the music, although I have to admit I am not holding my breadth on it at all.
TD is very special to me, and my life. But I do not want to see them "die", by the hand of people that do not know how to trip and fly. To me, that's killing the music!
