Thanks for sharing this.  I just downloaded the demo to try with the various headphone models I have available.
 
In my quick review, Sonarworks is most noticeable on my Sony 7506's - and IMHO, quite the improvement.
It tones down the highs, brings up the bass and really seems to balance these out.
 
I'm not sure if I really "NEED" this plugin, but it does seem to work as advertised.
 

I use it with my ATH-M50's and it made a big difference.  There is apparently more of a bass boost with these headphones than I had realized.

I was really trying to be good and not purchase anymore plugins for a while, but thanks to Paul
and his discount code this was too good to pass up.

I thought I was suppose to get a 50% discount code when I beta tested the program but sadly, there was 0 communication. I never even received an update to the program while it was in testing nor any email updates as to the progress or bug issues being taken care of. I emailed the company about a couple things and never once heard back from them either. That kind of worries me as to what kind of actual support they would provide if an issue arises since they wouldn't even respond while testing their program.

You guys do realize, don't you, that you're paying fifty bucks for an EQ preset?
 
Not suggesting it isn't worth it; value is in the eye of the consumer. But if your headphones are so far out of whack that you have to compensate for them, then what you really need to do is start saving up for better cans.
