All this did was make me want a nice set of V-Drums even more than I already do... and a Rickie Bass... which I've wanted for WAY longer.

Seems he probably has some wicked preamps to run things through as well because the Rickie is sounding just about as good as it gets.

There are only two basses that I've owned in the past that I want again (without sacrificing ownership of what I have).

1. Rick 4003
2. Gibson EB-3 (not the Epi version either)

I am bound and determined to have both of them before 2017 closes.

(already have the V-Drums ).

This is what my setup used to look like - loved it!  The SPD-20 covered all the other essentials like gongs, wind-chimes and, most importantly, cowbells.

@craigb... You make me sad every time you describe your loss.... then I remember how lame my gear history has been.

Better to have loved and lost?

We can rebuild?

Or at least spew useless platitudes as we pine?

It's actually made me appreciate simple things more (er, no offense to the members here meant!  ).  Someday, when I have lots of money again, I'm sure I'll make an even better studio.

(It's all the incredible amounts of time researching, finding, buying, setting up and learning how to use all of the gear that's depressing.)
