still getting used to the arc, but i do believe it's a very useful tool

Now THAT, is some sweet picking.  Nice sounding mix..... loved so many aspects of it..... from the guitar playing to the fat full wirey sounding bass, and of course all the changes that flowed from one to the next effortlessly.

steve morse is a real hero of mine, that said, i can't play a single lick of anything he's ever done...
i just enjoy listening to him, never was a style influence....
zappa, on the other hand, i spent some time studying.
it's easy to make it tricky, it's another to make it groovy with a little extra spice on it.

that's one of my favorite bass tones, yet, and i don't have a clue how i did it.
