Thomas, I never thought of the Oasis thing until you mentioned it!  You are so right!  I could hear Liam Gallagher sneering through the whole song.  Lol.  I also love Oasis.  I actually did a cover of "Some Might Say" that I should post here.  Thanks!!
 
Wayne, Thanks very much!  I orignally had the key change further in the song but that made it too long because I wanted to keep this song under 4:00.  So I shortened it and I liked it a lot better but once again I have to thank my friend Ron for his guitar solo because he really nailed it and jacked up the key change nicely.

Cute is not usually a word that's used to describe anything I do but Thanks all the same! Maybe I will experiment with some different drums. Is it the drum pattern or the sound of the drums that you are referring to? I already have the midi patterns laid out. But Session Drummer is very limited in what it can do. Its probably time to spring for some new drum software.

It's hard to find the time comment on other peoples music. There's a lot of great musicians here. I wish I had the time to comment on everything I like. And sometimes there are songs I don't like and would rather not comment than be insincere just to get a return comment. Anyway, I just wanted to bump this song back up one more time because I'm really proud out it. I hope you enjoy it and I'll try to spend more time listening and commenting here. Thanks!

Good one Don. Agree about the drums, that kick pattern is holding the momentum back instead of letting it groove.

I tried a few different kick patterns but I still like this one best. This one is a pretty standard 1-2. I'll keep trying.

Hey, Don. Naturally I had to go looking for recent song posts by those who commented on mine, and yours was the first one I spotted. I like the lyric and vocal on this one. The main suggestion I would make is that you add an Intro; it gives the impression that I often have with my own stuff that "it starts in the middle". Nice work with Session Drummer. I would not have guessed that was SD3 - sits well in the mix with a nice live feel.
