IIRC correctly you're in Willits, CA...where I lived in Redwood Valley is apparently being overrun with the fires, and I wanted to check and see if you're okay. Seems part of Potter Valley has been destroyed already. I still have friends there but apparently cell phone service is messed up.

Bump...Keni's right in the middle of the fires that are occurring in Mendocino county, CA...hope he's okay.

Another bump for Keni. Hope is okay. I'll try and bump this once a day until we hear from him. 

And another bump. I was just reading an update. Looks bad.

This is all happening in the counties just 30 minutes North of me. I didn't realize Keni was a neighbor. 

Keni probably isn't home, or if he is has no power. Either way, checking in with the forum is probably not a priority.

Well, his absence speaks volumes, doesn't it...I guess my memory of where he lives was unfortunately correct.

I trust that he is well, but hope to hear confirmation of that. There are so many acres involved, it's astonishing.

Keni and I have gotten together a couple time before, so I know him personally.
I just texted Keni on both phone numbers I had for him. I find that texting sometimes works better than calls in remote areas. AFAIK he's in Willits area. But no longer owns a home in Redwood Valley.
 
I have piano work scheduled in Ft. Bragg this weekend. But have put it on hold to make the decision to go until later today. GF's house is under advisory evacuation and if fire heads more her way, I'm staying to help.
 
I live in Rohnert Park, near Santa Rosa. No big threat in this area. My old house in Glen Ellen is gone...

Yup... having a hot time in the house ol' town tonight!

I lost my house to foreclosure a little more than a year ago and have been drifting somewhat homeless since.

I'm currently staying in Wiilits courtesy of another friend barely 1-2 miles from the front lines of the fire, but it seems the fire is circumventing the valley (old lake bed) which is Willits.

We got phones/wifi/gas restored yesterday, so if they gave us gas, im thinking they feel it safe?

Life goes on. Many friends evacuated and some losing homes. Some Others returning home later today.

Fire only 10% contained so anything is possible...

Idiot i am? I just finished my new album and all i can think about is the 11/23/2017 release date. Some final paperwork and manufacturing is all that remains! This will be my 10th solo album and it's called Heart Of The Matter... of I'll post listening links asap...

Have main DAW, favorite guitar/amp and clothes/blankets ready for 30 minute evac if necessary.
